Heather Day is an independent performer, songwriter, composer and publisher from Florida. She performed her first solo when she was 6 years old and has continued performing and publishing exclusive content for much of her adult life.
As a teen she discovered the theater and jumped headfirst into musicals; starring in The World Goes ‘Round, She Loves Me, Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, and competing with the Rhapsode Players at her high school. Heather proudly served as Drama Club president her senior year. Her leadership was during a time when inclusiveness was unpopular but she made it popular to be inclusive! She was voted "Most Talented" (aka "Most likely to Make a Million Dollars Doing What She Loves") her senior year of high school by her graduating class. She graduated with honors and received the Florida Academic Bright Futures scholarship.
She was also a talent scholarship recipient and is a graduate of Florida School of the Arts for Musical Theatre; where she played principle roles in such shows as Once Upon A Mattress and Working. She also participated in two years of Pop Ensemble (one year as an Alto I and one as a Soprano I) and enjoyed traveling and performing for folks all across Florida.
After graduation from FloArts, Heather soon moved on to professional live stage performance with Heartbeat Productions' "Hit City" and "A Family Affair". She has debuted on nationally syndicated reality television, performed for the United Way live fundraising telethon, and appeared in multiple independent films. She is open to working with you on your project as well.
